Lara Trump is doing a lot of multitasking these days.
Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law and (not coincidentally) the co-chair of the Republican National Committee is releasing her own clothing brand, amid speculation that she might be chosen to replace Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in the Senate.
Florida Sen. Rick Scott (R) urged Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to appoint Lara Trump if Rubio is confirmed as the president-elect’s secretary of state next year.
“It’s an important decision, and I think he’s going to pick Lara Trump because he knows she is clearly qualified,” Scott said on NewsNation Tuesday night.
Although Lara Trump told Fox News that she “would absolutely consider” replacing Rubio in the Senate, she could have some possible time conflicts, considering she announced on Instagram on Wednesday that she will soon be releasing her own line of athleisure.
The post featured a black-and-white photo of Lara Trump crossing her arms artistically while wearing a crop top and leggings that are presumedly part of the brand.
The website isn’t showing any clothes currently. There’s just a countdown clock for Thursday and a sign-up form for interested parties.
Lara Trump claims the LT Brand is “a celebration of strength, resilience, and patriotism, and is “made for the achievers, the go-getters, and those striving to be their best every single day.”
It’s the latest attempt by Lara Trump to turn her MAGA fame into mega dollars. Her previous side hustle is a recording career that has gotten mixed reactions at best.
Fittingly (because we’re dealing with clothes ― get it?) social media mocked Lara Trump’s latest attempt at diversifying her income.
