The Invictus Games were co-founded by Prince Harry and Sir Keith Mills in partnership with the U.K. Ministry of Defence in 2014. The event is modelled after the Warrior Games in the U.S. which Prince Harry attended in 2013. The games were previously held in Canada in Toronto in 2017. The event moves to different countries each year.

Presented by ATCO and Boeing, the Invictus Games is an international sporting competition for wounded, injured and sick service members and veterans which runs Feb. 8 — 16. The event brings 550 competitors from up to 25 nations participating in 11 adaptive sports. The name invictus means unconquered and the event has celebrated the courage, strength and resiliency of those who serve their nations and the world in the hope to generate greater respect, understanding and support of these individuals.

More performers and celebrity appearances will be announced in early December.
