Former Dancing with the Stars professional Artem Chigvintsev and reality star Nikki Bella have had their restraining orders against each other officially dismissed.

According to court documents filed in Napa County on November 19, the pair reached an agreement following a mediation earlier this month, putting an end to their contentious legal battle.

The documents, obtained by DailyMail.com, reveal that both parties’ temporary restraining orders, which were issued on September 30 for Bella and October 3 for Chigvintsev, have been terminated.

“Both orders are immediately terminated and shall no longer be of any force and effect,” the filing states. The dismissal also resulted in the cancellation of a two-day hearing originally scheduled to begin on December 5.

The estranged couple, who share a four-year-old son named Matteo, attended a mediation on November 8, during which they resolved all issues related to their divorce.

According to the filing, the session led to “memorializing a global settlement of all issues in this Dissolution of Marriage action.”

While the restraining orders have been dropped, custody orders issued on October 15 remain in full effect, granting the pair joint custody of Matteo.

The legal drama between Bella and Chigvintsev began after the ballroom dancer’s arrest on August 29 in Yountville, California, for alleged domestic violence. Prosecutors later declined to pursue charges, but the arrest triggered further legal disputes, including Bella’s unsuccessful request for sole custody of their son.

Chigvintsev has consistently denied Bella’s allegations of abuse, filing court documents that alleged she had fabricated the claims to protect her career. “She abused me, not the other way around,” he wrote.

“She threw shoes at me, followed me, and tried to break her way into the bedroom.”

He further stated: “I cannot trust her anymore. Not only did she lie to the police so that her career remains intact, ruining mine, but she used the court proceeding to keep our son away from me for almost a month, not letting me see him until this Court issued its 50/50 orders on 10/15/2024, which I am very grateful for.”

Bella had previously claimed that Chigvintsev struggled with anger issues after being cut from Dancing with the Stars and taking on a construction job she said he felt was “beneath him.”

In response, Chigvintsev denied the claim, stating, “It is not true that I have not been able to find other work as a dancer. After the mug shot and the arrest based on her false allegations, I was taken off the website faculty list resulting in loss of over $100k in income.”

In a September statement to People, Chigvintsev expressed gratitude that charges were not pursued. “I am incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped.

“This has been an extremely difficult time for me. My focus has always been and will always be, our son Matteo.” He added, “I look forward to moving past this chapter and focusing on what truly matters—continuing to be the best father I can be.”

Artem’s representatives have been previously contacted by Express Online for comment.
