Ulrika Jonsson has candidly shared many intimate details of her “weird life”, from three marriages and four children, to her reality TV stints, including Channel 4’s “Am I a Sex Addict?”.

However, as her children have matured, they’ve implored her to tone down her openness.

On the Suddenly Single podcast, revealed: “When they were younger I was able to write and say more or less anything…but now of course you can’t take a photo and put it on without them saying ‘Don’t post that!'”

Following her divorce from US ad executive Brian Monet, Ulrika considers herself “effectively” single – although she says she’s been through a “damaging” number of dating experiences.

She criticises dating apps like Tinder and Hinge as “the death of romance,” despite having dabbled in them herself, reports

“It was my best friend and her girlfriend at the time who sort of put me on them, just as we had had the first lockdown,” she confessed.”

Ulrika recalls the conversation with her pal: “She said ‘You’re going to go crazy with three kids at home… you need a distraction’.

“So they set up some sort of profile on Tinder, which I never used, but then I went on Hinge.”

Ulrika revealed she tried the exclusive “celebrity” dating app Raya, known for its strict eight percent acceptance rate, but criticised it by saying, “I found that the people on there were too much up their own a***s, they very much had a sense of their own self-importance.”

Besides, she says, she’s lost any interest in dating celebrities, yearning instead for someone grounded, revealing: “I want a normal person.”
