Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco made a rare appearance and delighted royal fans as they marked the principality’s National Day alongside their parents on November 19.Proud parents Princess Charlene and took to the balcony of the Monaco Palace in Monte Carlo with Jacques and Gabriella, nine, for the army parade. The cheeky antics of the twins , who is famously known to be a little naughty during public events. A series of pictures from the day show Jaques shouting at one point, and Gabriella looking a little bored on the balcony.However, the royals also put on their best display by smiling and waving enthusiastically to crowds below.Former Olympian swimmer Princess Charlene, 46, had earlier attended mass in the cathedral to mark the important day.

Princess Charlene looked beautiful in a fitted lilac suit complete with silver buttons. She accessorised wearing sparkling diamond earrings and a matching netted fascinator. Prince Albert also looked smart, dressed in his military uniform and a matching black tie.
Their two children looked every inch Albert and Charlene’s mini-me’s, with Prince Jacques wearing a uniform adorned with the Star of the Order of Grimaldi while Princess Gabriella looked adorable dressed in a periwinkle coat dress to match her mother.
The Order of Grimaldi – is an honour the children were given at their baptisms.

National Monaco Day is also known as The Sovereign Prince’s Day, and the date of the celebration is chosen by the reigning Prince.
Traditionally, the Princes chose the day of the saint they are named after.
, he decided to choose the same day as his father rather than the day of Saint Albert, which would have been November 15.
It is typically celebrated with fireworks over the harbour the evening before, and a mass in Monte Carlo the next morning.
Charlene has previously discussed her nine-year-old twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques and how their personalities are quite different.
, explaining how she asks ‘lots of questions” but her son is “more reserved” and “naturally very calm”.
She said: “The conversations I have with Jacques and those with Gabriella are so different, as well as the time spent with them.”
