Just the three races remain this year, starting in Las Vegas this weekend.

And if things go to plan for in Sin City, he could end up hitting the jackpot by securing his fourth straight Drivers’ Championship title.

A victory in Sunday’s race will give him an unassailable lead over second-place and nearest challenger , regardless of where the Brit finishes.

Sergio Perez demands big performance ahead of Las Vegas GP

admits he ‘needs to perform’ as exit rumours continue to grow.

Perez has just three races left to show his worth to the bigwigs, amid claims the Mexican could be booted out.

Speaking during the break between races, Perez said: “I like the street circuit experience, with the walls in tight and you cannot compare to driving down The Strip or towards the Sphere towering over you.

“While it’s a spectacle of a race, for everyone attending and watching back home, it’s one where I know I need to perform and maximise this car and my own performance.”
