Taking to the micro-blogging site on Sunday (November 17) Shaun asked his 90,000 followers: “Who will be my first follower on the new social media platform Bluesky?”
He added the hashtags: “#bluesky #shaunwallace #newfollower.”
The quizzer’s supporters commented on the post as one person penned: “I hope you’re staying on here!!…as well?”
Another pleaded: “I hope you’re not leaving just because everyone else is.i e. Celebs!!”

A fourth shared: “Nah. Never even bothered with or Insta, so sod joining another one.”
“That’s the first I’ve heard of it, I expect it will be everywhere in months,” another added.
While the Dark Destroyer did not confirm plans to leave X altogether, other well-known figures announced their departure from ‘s platform recently.

The independent platform is a popular destination for people who no longer wish to use X. On November 13, Bluesky announced it had more than 15 million users.
Bluesky is a social media platform where people can interact much as they do on X, posting, replying, and messaging one another on a vertical user interface.
US actress Jamie Lee Curtis has been vocal about her decision to leave X for Bluesky. In an post, she shared a screenshot confirming that she had deactivated her account.
TV presenter and naturalist Chris Packham, Irish comedian Dara O’Briain and Countdown star Susie Dent are also among its users.
