Gillian McKeith, who has previously appeared on twice, shared her thoughts on this year’s lineup, which surprisingly includes wife .
The health guru shared her disbelief over the Wagatha Christie star’s appearance in the Australian jungle and questioned if the footballer’s WAG wanted to escape her “contrary husband”.
Writing in her Express.co.uk column, Gillian typed: “The key for the viewers is that there needs to be some kind of discord. We need tiffs and soon. Lovey dovey, everyone getting along akin to singing ‘Kumbaya’ does not make for must watch TV.
“It’s OK for a first episode that they supposedly all love each other so much. But there are a couple of personalities in there who will probably ‘stir the pot’, especially once hunger sets in.
“I want to see the raw, real, authentic reactions boil to the surface,” she added.

Coleen Rooney is favourite to win this year’s show.
Gillian continued: “I am shocked that Coleen Rooney is in the line-up. I thought it was a joke when I first heard about it. ITV have been after Coleen for years for and probably cannot believe their luck that she finally agreed, but why why would she do this? It’s not like she needs the money or the fame.
“She has both …in spades. She must want to step out from the shadows and do something for herself. Maybe she has aspirations of more TV presenting or needs a total rest from her contrary husband and four children because that’s a lot.
“But I could think of easier things to be doing if that’s the goal. She most likely wants to stay relevant and out of the WAG moniker now that her husband is no longer playing football.
“I think she is seeking to carve out a whole new career for herself and I’m A Celeb is the perfectvehicle for her,” she speculated.
Gillian McKeith shared what goes on behind the scenes of I’m A Celebrity.
Despite the initial shock over Coleen’s appearance, Gillian is certain the household name will be coming into the programme with a solid game plan to win the series.
The health guru continued: “Coleen is THE one to watch for sure as she will come in with a solid game plan but act like she is just innocently cruising along.
“Coleen is entering with serious ‘Game Face’. She is no stranger to drama and I am certain she wants to win. She is aclever girl and has already proven herself in the “detective” world, earning the title WAGATHA CHRISTIE.
“Coleen will know that every move matters so I am sure she will play her cards wisely. Coming in with the detective skill-set strategy, she will be reading everyone like a book, calculating who might be a threat, who might crack and who to keep close.
“You do need allies in the jungle. The best-laid plans can crumble once you are hungry and dealing with the unpredictable moods of campmates.
“Coleen needs to adapt quickly, which is par for the course as a mum of four.”
