Keir Starmer speaking at PMQs
Keir Starmer has got used to dodging things since becoming Prime Minister.
He dodged paying for Taylor Swift tickets, designer clothes for him and the missus and a day out at the gee-gees after being given them all as freebies.
That was until being frogmarched into coughing up £6,000 amid public outrage.
Slippery Starmer has also had to dodge weeks of pensioner fury having cruelly snatched away their winter fuel allowance.
And he has had to dodge a barrage of criticism over his insipid leadership and Labour infighting which resulted in his chief of staff getting the boot and a humiliating government reset after just 93 days in power.
So it was no surprise that he was at it again as showed no mercy on his hapless successor in No 10 during Prime Minister’s Questions.

The Tory terrier ripped Starmer apart from the off, claiming the PM is “a convert to fire and rehire”, as he referred to the ousting of Sue Gray.
Addressing the Commons Mr Sunak said: “Tomorrow the Government will publish their anticipated changes to employment law, given the weekend’s events, when did the Prime Minister first become a convert to fire and rehire?”
Drowned out by a cacophony of Tory cheers and laughter Sir Keir responded: “I’m very pleased and proud that tomorrow we will publish the Bill which will be the biggest upgrade of workers’ rights in a generation.”
Flanked by his new trusty red-headed lieutenant – Rachel Reeves – Sir Keir was then back to dodging as he was challenged to rule out a massive national insurance raid at the Budget.
The PM floundered as Sunak repeatedly pressed him on speculation that the levy could be extended to employers’ contributions.

Whatever the outcome, the next Tory is likely to have a field day against Sir Keir.
