Snooker fans will be eagerly anticipating the action at the Wuhan Open on Tuesday with world champion and in action in China.
Several big names have already been dumped out of the tournament as there are 16 stars left to compete for the lucrative £140,000 prize for taking the title. Ronnie O’Sullivan is not present in the Far East after being forced to withdraw for medical reasons.
Wilson laid down the gauntlet to his rivals with a dominant 5-0 win over Aaron Hill and now faces Xiao Guodong. Elsewhere, the defending Open winner Trump overcame He Guoqiang 5-2 in the previous round and is up against Anthony McGill.
