A Ruggable machine-washable rug for 20% off

Check out Ruggable’s landing page for more Prime Day Deals!

The image above is of my daughter’s nursery, but I have a total of THREE Ruggable rugs in my home. The nursery, our sitting room/my office, and our kitchen are all Ruggable rooms. I won’t use anything else! Before I was the mom of a human child, I was (and still am) the mom of two cats. Having rugs that easily wash are crucial for all the puke, pee, and other slips and spills that happen thanks to all my little critters.

Promising review: “Amazing. Well worth the price. I love the two-piece design. Looks great. Very slip resistant, doesn’t move at all. No need for rug grippers or protectors for hardwood. My kids already tested it out by dumping a cup of strawberry milk on the rug. It didn’t leak through to the hardwood. Then we just threw it in the washer. I’m going to fill my house with these.” — MattSand

A pack of corner guards for 20% off

I want my kid safe but I also want to keep the furniture I’ve spent a decade collecting, sharp edges and all. These actually stay in place to protect your kiddo’s precious little head from any bumps. Reviewers say kid’s cant easily pull these off (unlike similar versions) and, although my daughter hasn’t tried that, she HAS tried bumping her head into every corner she can reach. Thanks to these, the kid is goose-egg free!

Promising review: “These are perfect for smaller areas. I use them on my kids’ night stand and my night stand. They are very easy to install and are very good quality. They are clear so they blend right in and the adhesion works really well because my son has attempted to remove them a lot. They are great for safety and they stand up well to curious toddlers.” — Valerie Oliveiria

An SPF 50 infant-safe mineral sunscreen for 36% off

I have horribly porcelain skin and burn if I think about the sun for too long. Worried my kid may end up in the same situation, I drown the little darling in this stuff. And it’s worked! We are outside constantly and haven’t had any red cheeks or feets. Love this stuff.

Promising review: “This summer, we’ve used this product non-stop, about three to four times a week for both of our kids, and I can confidently say it works very well. Our children haven’t been burnt but have developed a light tan. I would definitely recommend it to all parents, especially because it contains fewer chemicals than your typical products out there. Please stay safe and read the ingredients carefully before using them on your children or yourself!” — Amazon Customer

An anxiety-eliminating baby gate for 34% off

,

Mallory Mower / BuzzFeed

This gate is capable of expanding to fit openings between 29–34 and 35-38.5 inches wide, but won’t fit an opening between 34–35 inches. It stands 30 inches tall. I have two versions, the smaller one keeps our toddler out of our home office, and I also have the 192-inch version (pictured above, right). I can’t believe how sturdy it is while covering such a big space. My kid pulls on it every day and it doesn’t budge.

Promising review:Best gate I have ever owned. I have two small kids, a dog, and two cats. Plus lots of stairs. I have gone through so many gates in the last three years. Most broke over time or came loose. This gate is worth 20 stars. Amazing quality. It has stood the test of time! reliable, sturdy, easy to use, easy to install. The gate swings both ways! That’s a HUGE plus. I feel so secure having it, knowing that there is no way my kids or dog can knock it down or get over it. It is tall too. Buy this one. Coming from the girl who is the queen of gates. This one is one-and-done. IF we need to purchase more gates in the future, I will come straight back to this product and seller.” — L. Randall

A set of lovely silicone baby bottles for up to 20% off
Amazon

,

I 100% bought these because I thought they were pretty. Turns out, they’re also really good! We tried several types of bottles when our daughter was born and these were far and away her favorite! It was wild to see how much she preferred them. As she became able to hold a bottle on her own, we found that the plastic holes and silicone interior made them really easy for her to grab.

Promising review: “I decided to try these bottles because I was looking for a new brand of silicone bottle. These are easy to clean, my baby can hold them more easily than other bottles because of the unique design, the flow seems to be good for her, and they look cool. I like that the parts which come in contact with my baby’s formula and hot water are plastic-free.” — danizorz

Bose QuietComfort wireless headphones for 43% off

P.S. These come with an audio cable with an in-line microphone so you can use them without a Bluetooth connection or even when the battery is depleted!

These were my own summer Prime Day purchase! I’d had an older version for several years, and, like their predecessor, this new pair has basically become part of my body. Noise-canceling headphones were a really important tool for me to have on hand with my newborn. I love having them on during stressful nights of teething because they keep my tired self from going too wild when my kid just needs to be comforted. Bless. Bose.

Promising review: “It’s hard to imagine that these headphones leave any room for improvement. Their spatiality and clarity are excellent. The accuracy of music reproduction is good enough even to pick up occasional flaws in the original recordings and/or differences in recording processes. Noise cancellation has improved dramatically vs Bose’s original entry years ago. Great for use in a gym environment as well as airline travel.” — Harrison

A set of mosquito-repellent stickers for 20% off

These stickers are pretty straight-forward and good for kids — and adults! — of all ages. Just adjust the number of stickers based on age and enjoy some much-needed bug relief.

I used these on a recent camping trip upstate. I noticed no bug bites on my baby after the trip – so I say they’re a success!

Promising review: “Been buying these little stickers every summer for my two kids and can truly say they work! I’m always taking them to the park and they used to get bit by mosquitoes every time. I usually put two of these stickers on their back and it does the job — not one mosquito bite at all. Definitely recommend this to all moms!” — Jessica

Lalo’s Bathtime Starter kit for 28% off
,

This set is an essential part of our bath time routine! The cup has a soft, silicone top that makes it easy to pour water over my daughter’s hair without it getting on her face. My daughter grew out of the top tub at around 11 months, and the bottom basin has been a great transition without filling up an entire tub for our little kid.

And Lalo’s knee and elbow pads for 22% off

The knee pad is a need. It folds, so I can store it upright between the tub and my sink. The elbow pads suction to the edge of the tub to keep them in place, no matter how much I’m moving around while trying to get my kid clean as she tries to splash her way out of the bath.

Promising review: “Great quality material that dries fast and holds up any amount of pressure. Very easy to clean and is the perfect amount of thickness. I never have any issues leaning into the tub during bath time when using these.” — Nicole

An inflatable infant chair for up to 33% off

I’ve had this since my daughter (a preemie) was 4 months old. It’s easily the infant product I recommend most. Although no baby product is intended for long or unsupervised sessions, this is a genuinely helpful set of hands. It’s ideal when you need your baby in one place while you do the laundry and dishes, go to the bathroom, etc. I like it during eating time as it’s far easier to clean than a highchair (and she could sit in this earlier). I love having it while reading and talking to her so she can see my face. She’s now sitting up on her own, but this chair is still as useful as it was on day one!

P.S. (Just for fun.) I wrap fabric bibsaround the front of the seat and my daughter stays entertained for ages trying to pull them off. This game came to me out of desperation and is the sole reason I can use the bathroom without also holding a baby when we’re home alone.

A Frida Baby electric nail file for 30% off

Be sure to check out all of Frida Baby’s Prime Day deals!

I am the brave (i.e. reckless) parent, so I just quickly trim my daughter’s nails with catcher clippers but my husband refuses to touch her nails unless he’s using this Frida set. He far prefers buffing and filing her nails down, and likes that the process helps prevent hang nails, which has really helped prevent scratches on her face.

Promising review: “This has got to be the best nail trimmer device ever made. It doesn’t hurt her skin. It doesn’t accidentally trim too far and automatically stops when it senses danger! But in all seriousness, this thing works great. When I trim her nails she doesn’t even flinch. Plus it comes in a sweet travel case that has instructions on which tip to use printed on the inside of the case. It’s fool proof for mom and baby doesn’t even know their nails are being trimmed!” — Kahlee Meadows

A Dyson V11 vacuum cleaner for 30% off

I hate to admit it but the Motorbar cleaner headhas been the most necessary postpartum cleanup tool in my life. I shed hair constantly, nonstop. It’s ability to detangle hair as it picks it up (rather than building up in the vacuum) is beyond necessary. This vacuum is small enough to just sit against my washer and dryer, which is a huge plus when having a toddler means I need to vacuum approximately 117 times a day.

Promising review: “I absolutely love this Dyson. I have had others in the past and this is by far my favorite! It is lightweight and easy to move around. We have a lot of stairs in our home, and I no longer have to lug around a heavy vacuum. The battery lasts long enough for me to vacuum my entire home; it is 3600 square feet. The attachments are great and it is easy to clean. I love it!” — Kmillerfam5

A Tushbaby hip carrier for 32% off

It’s recommended for children between 8 and 45 pounds and can be used in four different holding positions — feeding/breastfeeding, side carrying, front facing, and face-to-face. See why this mama calls the Tushbaby “the best invention for parents of young children” on TikTok.

A true Brooklynite, my daughter started insisting on walking outside at 11 months old. This side carrier helps us move things along faster when she gets tuckered out. I love using this on the subway, as she can sit down and move around without my needing to get her out of a carrier. It’s also stellar for breastfeeding on the go, whether I’m sitting or standing. BTW, Tushbaby is a small biz run by three California mamas and specializes in products that bring a little more ease to everyday parenting life.

Promising review: This has been one of MANY items I have purchased thanks to TikTok, and I’m glad I did. Super easy to use, easy to adjust, and most importantly it helps with support tremendously. It comes with pockets and a place to hold bottles/sippy cups, which can be very handy. My 8-month-old weights around 30–35 lbs, and he’s basically attached to me 24/7, carrying all day was killing my back and arms! Thank God for this invention, my arms and back can rest.” — Jennifer Calle

Outlet covers for 20% off with a hidden pull handle

One pack includes 45 cover plugs, so these may become my new parenting party favor. I got these after a coworker recommended them in her own post (oh yeah, I’m a total sucker for BuzzFeed shopping posts) and they have been a success!

Promising review: “I purchased these specifically because I’ve had the regular type and get tired of breaking my nails trying to get them out. Plus, a toddler is watching how you do it, so these are a bit more stealth if you cover your hand while flipping out the handle.” — Fair Comprehensive Reviews

Magnetic locks for 60% off
Amazon

,

The set comes with locks (with strong 3M double-sided tape on the back) and two keys. I convinced myself to buy these thanks to my own BuzzFeed posts. I’ve been reading reviews on these and featuring them for years. Once I found out I was going to have a baby, they were one of my first purchases. Magnets, man. They work!

Promising review: “These are awesome! I spent hours with a drill and screwdriver installing push down locks on cupboards five years ago. I now have another crawling baby, and those ones are all broken. I was dreading installing new ones and saw these. They literally go on in seconds, the bracket means it lines up perfectly, and the adhesive is strong! My older kids think the magnet key is super fun. Baby stays out of the chemicals, and I put one on the trash door so the dog stays out of the trash so everyone gets to live longer. Win-win. I also love that you can ‘turn’ them off and on so when my kids are bigger we can flip the switch but if little kids were visiting, we could put them back on.”Joseph J. Krakker

A universal cup holder for 30% off

I have an unreasonably nice stroller and I feel very lucky. Although my luxury stroller knows how to keep my kid comfortable, it underestimated how often I’d be taking the kid on walks just to go to Starbucks. This was an absolute necessity. I love that it doesn’t fill up with condensation and my drinks don’t wobble when I walk!

Ryan & Rose is a family-owned small business that creates stylish accessories parents will love. Reviewers also love adding this cup holder to other objects like their spin bikes, beach chairs, shopping carts, and more. I picked up one of these and attached it to my son’s Doona Liki Trike (which has no cup holder or pockets). I use it to hold my wallet and keys whenever we go for a walk around the neighborhood — it’s great!

Promising review: “I am obsessed with these holders! I have a huge stroller that a conventional cupholder won’t work on, the Ryan And Rose Cutie Holder is perfect! I am actually order a second one that I can use to hold to hold my cellphone! The uses are endless! Stock up when you can!” — ShopTillYouDrop

A beloved Momcozy Breast Pump for 38% off

I am very attached to these breast pumps. At least once a day I am literally attached to them. They’re easy to clean, the different sizes of flanges are comfortable and customizable, and they give me a freedom I desperately needed after months stuck in my homemade nursing station. The batteries last me days on a full charge and the carrying case makes transport a breeze. They are strong, comfortable, and a GREAT gift for anyone you know who is pumping for their baby.

Promising review: “I absolutely love this breast pump! As someone with ‘elastic nipples,’ this pump has truly been a game changer for me. I had previously tried pricier options and was close to giving up on finding a wearable solution. I felt defeated, only managing to pump a single ounce at a time and dealing with significant pain from other wearables. After reading that silicone flanges could work better for those with elastic nipples, I decided to give this pump a shot, especially after seeing its positive reviews. I’m so glad I did! This pump is perfect for busy, on-the-go moms or even just for wearing at home.” — Emily Del Real
