The image above is of my daughter’s nursery, but I have a total of THREE Ruggable rugs in my home. The nursery, our sitting room/my office, and our kitchen are all Ruggable rooms. This gate is capable of expanding to fit openings between 29–34 and 35-38.5 inches wide, but won’t fit an opening between 34–35 inches. It stands 30 inches tall. I have two versions, the smaller one keeps our toddler out of our home office, and I also have the 192-inch version (pictured above, right). I can’t believe how sturdy it is while covering such a big space. My kid pulls on it every day and it doesn’t budge.

I 100% bought these because I thought they were pretty. Turns out, they’re also really good! We tried several types of bottles when our daughter was born and these were far and away her favorite! It was wild to see how much she preferred them. As she became able to hold a bottle on her own, we found that the plastic holes and silicone interior made them really easy for her to grab.

These were my own summer Prime Day purchase! I’d had an older version for several years, and, like their predecessor, this new pair has basically become part of my body. Noise-canceling headphones were a really important tool for me to have on hand with my newborn. I love having them on during stressful nights of teething because they keep my tired self from going too wild when my kid just needs to be comforted. Bless. Bose.

I’m one of those people who uses cold packs for just about any ache, so you better believe these were one of the first things I bought postpartum! I’ve had this since my daughter (a preemie) was 4 months old. It’s easily the infant product I recommend most. Although no baby product is intended for long or unsupervised sessions, this is a genuinely helpful set of hands. It’s ideal when you need your baby in one place while you do the laundry and dishes, go to the bathroom, etc. I like it during eating time as it’s far easier to clean than a highchair (and she could sit in this earlier). I love having it while reading and talking to her so she can see my face. She’s now sitting up on her own, but this chair is still as useful as it was on day one!
P.S. (Just for fun.) I wrap fabric bibsaround the front of the seat and my daughter stays entertained for ages trying to pull them off. This game came to me out of desperation and is the sole reason I can use the bathroom without also holding a baby when we’re home alone.

I am the brave (i.e. reckless) parent, so I just quickly trim my daughter’s nails with catcher clippers but my husband refuses to touch her nails unless he’s using this Frida set. He far prefers buffing and filing her nails down, and likes that the process helps prevent hang nails, which has really helped prevent scratches on her face.

I hate to admit it but the Motorbar cleaner headhas been the most necessary postpartum cleanup tool in my life. I shed hair constantly, nonstop. I have an unreasonably nice stroller and I feel very lucky. Although my luxury stroller knows how to keep my kid comfortable, it underestimated how often I’d be taking the kid on walks just to go to Starbucks. This was an absolute necessity.
