GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes ripped into Holly and Phil
did not hold back when he discussed former This Morning colleagues and on GB News today. The ex-ITV presenter was joined by his co-host Isabel Webster and showbiz reporter Stephanie Tayki.
The ex-presenter lashed out at an unnamed trio in his television comeback last week on Channel 5’s Cast Away. According to Phillip’s friends, he believes that Holly brought him down.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said she is known as “the witch” amongst his inner circle. They also claim that he uses the hatted hag emoji to discuss Holly if her name ever crops up.
Addressing the latest claims during Tuesday’s edition of GB News Stephanie suggested Holly was seen as the “golden girl of ITV” but following Phillip’s scandal her career had been slightly “tainted”.
The former This Morning hosts were once the best of friends, but after Phillip admitted to his “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague, it soon soured.
Eamonn stated: “It was very much a false relationship.”
Stephanie asked: “Why would you say that it’s false?”
He replied: “Look at the way it ended. If this was your friend you would come out and say, ‘look something bad has happened here and I don’t agree with it.
“But she said nothing. Absolutely nothing. She was protecting herself in this.”
