Additionally, the series highlights interviews with Kitty Menendez’s relatives and Pamela Bozanich, who was the lead prosecutor in the initial trial that concluded with a hung jury.
When speaking about the case, Bozanich shares she never believed the brothers’ assertions of sexual abuse at the hands of their father.
She is particularly candid in dismissing online discourse regarding the case, especially within the community, which has been actively debating the intricacies of the Menendez case.
On-screen, Bozanich remarks: “The only reason we’re doing this special is because of the movement to free the Menendi.

“If that’s how we’re gonna try cases now, why don’t we just, like, have a poll? You present the faces, everybody gets to vote on , and then we decide who gets to go home.
“Your beliefs are not facts. They’re just beliefs. And by the way, all you people, I’m armed. We got guns all over the house. So don’t mess with me.”
Many online users expressed their astonishment at the comments, in particular with Bozanich’s comments about being armed.
One took to X, previously known as Twitter, stating: “She got her 15 minutes of fame on this documentary she didn’t have to do that interview and then to tell TikTokers to not come after her and she had guns! Disgusting behaviour!” (sic)
Another concurred, posting: “Was not expecting to watch the documentary about Lyle and Erik Menendez feeling like the worst person in it was the original prosecutor. The irony of her threatening the younger generation with guns really solidified her hypocrisy and bitterness.”
Meanwhile, one viewer remarked: “I get she’s a prosecutor but to act like that is truly disgusting! No prosecutor needs to act like that.”
The Menendez Brothers documentary is available to stream on now.
