star has unleashed a scathing attack on Sir Keir Starmer, claiming the Labour leader only secured his position due to the ‘ incompetence.
The 47 year old actor expressed his outrage over the government’s plan to cut winter fuel payments for millions of pensioners, stating: “The are such f***ing a***holes that got in not for what Labour were saying but because the f***ed it up so much.”
Dyer continued to voice his distrust of Starmer, saying: “And I don’t like this man. I don’t trust this man. He got the job handed to him on a plate. So what are you going to do to show us you’re different? And he’s gone straight in on pensioners? I find that f***ing fascinating.”
However, Dyer did offer praise for Deputy Prime Minister , suggesting she should replace Starmer as Labour leader.
In an interview with The Big Issue, he said: “This is meant to be a working-class party. We need more working-class people in politics. Why ‘s not leading things I don’t know. When she speaks, I listen.”
Dyer also lamented the lack of effective leadership in the UK, stating that the country “needs to be inspired” and that it has been a “very long time” since Britain had a proper leader. He took a parting shot at the , joking that the last “supposed leader” was David Cameron, who abandoned ship when things got tough, reports .
