The couple have been together since 2003
Couples often have silly made-up nicknames for each other and are no exception. Daughter of Princess Anne, Zara – who does not have a royal title – first met Mike during her travels in 2003.
The couple hit it off and began dating before they wed in 2011, since which they’ve had three children. In their years together, the husband and wife have formed plenty of monikers for one another.
Former rugby player Mike shared on the Total Sport Podcast some of the names they share, including “my love”. But alongside the sweet term of endearment, there were other bizarre names.

She wrote: “Hi my love, we are missing you so much and really needing some papa hugs, but glad you’re sharing them with your campmates.

He then turned to Zara, a professional equestrian, who replied: “When he’s not listening to munchkin or Mikey, it becomes Michael Tindall when there’s no response.”
She added: “He is in my phone as something else and it ends with kitten,” and Mike quipped: “You can fill the first word in!”
