These personal items, including the cap and backpack, were later found by family members near the banks of the River Derwent, together with the drinks bottles she purchased from the petrol station.
The discovery has prompted a thorough search of the river by police dive teams. However, despite these efforts, Victoria remains missing, and her family remains determined to find her, stating: “WE WILL GET YOU HOME!”
Laura Moran, posting on behalf of the family in the ‘The search for Victoria Taylor’ Facebook group, shared nine key pieces of information to help in the search.
She said: “We all want the same thing here, to find Vixx and get her home!”
“The CCTV footage is her. This has come from family and close friends that know her. The coat is black not blue. It’s pixelated from being taken from a screen.

“She has NOT got on a train or bus. The CCTV has been reviewed and continues to be reviewed extensively.
“We have to appreciate that the river has swollen due to the weather,” explained Laura. “It’s not a case of just sending a police officer in the water, it’s specialised. They will continue to search the river over the weekend.”
She added: “The drones have been used time and time again by the police, yes they are heat seeking and the specialist police team explained how it works. Again your local bobby isn’t going to know.
Laura said: “The media, we appreciate the help but the family are trying to support each other and keep it together for the children. Please don’t be knocking on the doors of family for a story.”
She continued: “If there is any information, it will come from the family through the police.”

A statement issued by Victoria’s sisters Emma and Heidi on Friday said: “We currently feel sick, distraught and lost following the disappearance of Vixx, but we are trying to focus on the children in the family to maintain a sense of routine at this difficult time.
“We would like to thank all the emergency services and volunteers who have assisted in the search for Vixx so far. The wider local community has also rallied around, and we are eternally grateful for the support that they have given to us, Vixx’s family.
“The police have told us that searches will continue over the weekend for which we are grateful.
“The water is challenging at the moment due to the recent weather so if people are out searching for Vixx, then please do not put yourself at risk.”
