Peter was last seen in the Playa de Las Americas area of Tenerife on October 1.
A British man has reportedly become the in Tenerife, an island belonging to the Canary archipelago off the coast of west Africa, having last been seen in the south of the island, according to an online appeal.
Peter, who’s surname has not been revealed by his friends who posted the appeal, was last seen in the area of the resort in southern Tenerife. His friends wrote: “Our friend has been missing since Tuesday the 1st of October last seen in Las Americas area.
“He’s called Pete if anyone’s seen him please could you get in touch his family are worried.”
According to the Missing Persons Tenerife page, Peter is from Middlesbrough. He is reportedly due to fly from to Leeds on Monday, October 7.
This latest report follows a string of recent disappearances and the discovery of a decomposing body in a ravine last month.

The disappearance of in June made international headlines as the 19-year-old, an apprentice bricklayer from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, disappeared on Tenerife after attempting to walk ten hours back to his accommodation. Less than two weeks after his disappearance, Tenerife police stated that they were discontinuing the search for Slater. On July 15, the in the area of interest was reported, later confirmed to be that of Slater.
Also missing is 71-year-old Marc Francis, a pensioner who was last seen in Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife over five months ago in April.

Many tourists to Tenerife are thought to underestimate the dangers of the Canary Islands’ landscape.
At least 12 people are known to have disappeared from Tenerife and so far this year, according to latest figures. Around 28 remain missing in Tenerife since 2015.
Oliver Geusem, 23, vanished two years ago during a solo backpacking holiday. He was last seen on August 4, 2022 in Monte de Esperanza in Santa Cruz.

It comes as authorities are working to identify a body that was found in a ravine in Tenerife last Sunday. The corpse was discovered by a hunter in the so-called Barranco del Rey, at the height of Roque del Conde, and had reportedly been there for “some time”. The hunter immediately contacted police who sent multiple teams to the site, including forensics.
The cause of death of the unidentified person remains unknown.
