Tasha and Aljaz topped Strictly’s week 2 leaderboard
Margherita opened up about Tasha’s week two look, where she performed the Viennese Waltz to Misty Blue by Dorothy Moore.
The artist revealed that the reality star’s make-up was ”channelling classic ballroom princess vibes, which are elegant and demure rather than overtly sexy with a touch of sparkle.”
She explained: “To achieve this, rather than using angular shapes on the eyes, they used rounded shapes which were more softly blended, and the blue shadow mirrored perfectly the colour of the dress.
“When it comes to eyeshadows, the colour blue is especially difficult to work with so they would have had to layer a stick shadow with a powder one on top to ensure the look had staying power.”

Tasha’s eyeshadow seamlessly matched her Strictly gown
Margherita shared: “To add some literal sparkle, sparkly eyeshadow was then dotted across the eyelid with the fingers to finish the look.
“The skin was radiant so that the sparkles from the dress were reflected nicely onto the skin.
“The best way to achieve radiant skin is to either use a stick highlighter but, in this case, given they are on stage and under strong lights, they would have mixed a liquid highlighter into the foundation to achieve this dewy finish on the skin.”
“To keep it themed, there was minimal sculpting and instead it was most likely that a soft cream blush was used,” the makeup artist added.
