contestant is smitten with his , whom he has been married to for 12 years. However, the comedian has admitted that his relationship with the psychologist can occasionally be heated.
Chris, 47, said disagreements over central heating are common as a consequence of the contrasting climates they were raised in.
“As you can imagine, we are very different in terms of our culture and our biological response to temperature,” he shared with Brighton Magazine.
“While my wife still needs a winter coat in 22-degree sunshine, I find it hard to cope in temperatures above about 26. I believe there’s a high likelihood that one of us might be discovered lifeless in the hallway one day, reaching out towards the thermostat, while the other has fled the country.”
Chris, who is the first blind contestant on the dance show, lives in London with Patricia and their daughter Sophie.

He lost his sight due to a and initially pursued a career as a web designer until his vision worsened.
He recounted to the Liverpool Echo: “I was unemployed for maybe a year and a half and in the end I got a job doing business sales. It was really, really boring stuff – just filling the time until I figured out what I properly wanted to do.
“Then, when I was 26, I got shingles and was signed off from work for two weeks. I was bored out of my head and as a dare from myself I decided to have a go at stand-up.”
