The latest series of kicked off with a glittery bang last month as a fresh batch of celebrities took to the dancefloor.
Although professionals and won’t be competing in the show, viewers were thrilled to see Aljaž Škorjanec return to the dancefloor after stepping down in 2022.
However, there’s another past pro that wouldn’t turn down the chance to compete in the series once again. Vincent Simone, who appeared in the show from 2006 up until 2012, spoke exclusively to The Express via about this year’s series.
When asked if he’d ever return to the show if asked, the dancer highlighted how appearing on Strictly has helped his career, along with his incredible talent.

He said to Express.co.uk: “Now that I’ve had this break, now that my children are grown up, I feel like I have more time. I would love to take the challenge again, for my personal things and to show everybody who I am.”
Admitting there were doubts that pros could return, due to fresh talent eager to join the programme, Vincent confessed he was keen on the challenge.
He added: “I wouldn’t mind going back and experiencing it all over again. I was thrown into the show from the beginning and I never worked on TV so everything was really overwhelming.”
Vincent added that now he’s at a different level in his life where he believes he’d be able to return and do an amazing job.

Currently, Vincent is on tour with former Strictly pros Brendan Cole, James Jordan, Pasha Kovalev, and Ian Waite for Legends of the Dancefloor, a ballroom reunion across the nation.
Last weekend, fans saw Olympic swimmer leave the competition after finding himself in the bottom two against Toyah Willcox.
Despite receiving a respectable score of 23 for his routine with Nadiya Bychkova, it wasn’t enough to keep him out of the dance-off.

When it came down to deciding who to save, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood opted to keep in Toyah and her partner Neil Jones.
As Anton Du Beke voted to keep Tom and Nadiya, it came down to head judge Shirley Ballas, who chose Toyah.
Speaking about his exit, Tom said: “I’ve had the best time the last few weeks and getting to work with Nadiya has been incredible.
“I wish I could have gone further and done more dances. I’ve had the most fun and I wish we could keep going longer and longer. We’ll still go out for loads of brunches I’m sure.”
