sensation Charlie Curtis has spilled the beans on her doomed romance with Eve Reid.
The duo, who tied the knot in a televised ceremony on the hit series, decided to exit the show prematurely, opting out before the second commitment ceremony could take place.
Their union crumbled under unresolved issues, with Eve notably declining to pen an emotional letter, despite encouragement from the relationship gurus.
During her stint on the MAFS UK: It’s Official podcast, hosted by Chloe Burrows, Charlie disclosed that Eve’s reluctance to engage in the exercise spelt the end of their marriage, reports .
She divulged: “Yes [it was a turning point] my brain clicked at that point. At the time I felt like I was doing everything in my power to [follow] what was set for us by the experts and take our relationship to that next point.

“Anything that was thrown at us, it was just shut down. Whereas, actually, maybe if she [Eve] had taken the time to write the letter whilst being a bit more open and honest with me it might have worked out differently.
“We signed up for this we knew what to expect. I feel like we needed to go into it with an open mind, regardless of the things that had happened.
“If you were going to agree to stay and move on from it, then let’s physically do that,” she confided to Chloe.
“In my eyes, that just never, ever happened on Eve’s part, unfortunately. She was just sticking to her guns. In her eyes, I just wasn’t the right person for her.

“It was for the best by the point [of the second commitment ceremony], there was no coming back for me.”
Following their departures being broadcast this week, Eve took to to address her exit from the experiment.
She expressed to her followers: “Oh my goodness, it’s all gone a bit crazy overnight. Just wanted to come and basically say a huge massive thank you just to like everyone, for everyone’s support.”
