has been spotted walking his dog following reports of a critical email within the being leaked. The is rumoured to be leaving his role after 25 years, according to the Daily Mail.

Wearing black trousers and a black quarter-zip hoodie, the broadcaster and former professional footballer was snapped walking his rescue dog, Filbert, who is a Siberian Husky cross.

The 63-year-old began presenting Match of the Day back in 1999, but his days could be numbered after an alleged email was “leaked” earlier this week.

According to the Daily Mail, they claim to have obtained sight of an internal email which shows a statement cutting ties with Lineker. The has denied any notion of Gary’s departure.

They stated to the publication: “We have nothing to announce, and we have not agreed next steps with regard to his contract. He is on contract until the end of the season.”
