The Duchess of Sussex wanted the pop star to speak on her podcast series Archetypes, , which was focused on exploring the labels that are often imposed on women.
The series, which invited guests to speak about issues in an attempt to break down these labels and look at the impact they can have, was hosted by Meghan herself from Montecito.
While A Listers such as Mariah Carey and Serena Williams accepted invitations to appear on the show as guests, Taylor wasn’t as keen and “respectfully declined” the request through her official representative, OK! reported.
This was even after Meghan sent the Love Story singer a “personal letter” as an invitation.
