Fans of Tipping Point were far from happy after tuning into Thursday’s episode of the ITV game show.

Hosted by Ben Shepherd, the latest episode featured contestants Surge, Charlotte, and George battling against the tipping point machine for a chance to win a big cash prize.

However, viewers quickly realised they were watching a repeat episode and were less than impressed.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one frustrated fan wrote: “This was on a few weeks ago #tippingpoint.”

Another viewer vented, “And this episode has been on at least 3 times already. #tippingpoint.”

A third person said: “I’m feeling a Surge of anger as I realise ‘it’s this bloody episode again.’ #tippingpoint”

A fourth said: “Stop showing the same effing episodes of #TippingPoint @benshephard. P.s. I only know because I look after my dad”

A fifth person fumed: “I’ve seen this repeat so often I feel like me and George are mates. Shocking and ridiculous from @itv#TippingPoint.”

New episodes had just begun airing on 9th September, but filming was paused today, resulting in a repeat episode being shown.

Three new contestants faced the coin machine in the episode this week, in a bid to take home a cash prize of up to £20k.

Earlier this month viewers shared their joy at a new episode after ‘six months of repeats’.

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement for the game show’s thrilling return, taking to X, formerly Twitter, to share their joy: “It’s been an eternity, but it’s back – brand new #TippingPoint!”

“It’s been a while. And it’s NEW #TippingPoint too. Hola!”

“It’s only a brand new #TippingPoint! Hola, tippers!”

“After six months of repeats, it’s Monday, it’s 4 o’clock, it’s brand-new #TippingPoint!”
