Former Death in Paradise star Ben Miller supports pal Jeremy Clarkson following new pub
star has confessed that he can’t wait to head down to his famous neighbour’s brand-new pub. The 58-year-old actor, who lives in the Cotswolds, claimed he likes Hawkstone beer and cannot wait to sink a pint in his boozer.
The Farmer’s Dog is located in the village of Asthall, just outside Burford, Oxfordshire. It sits on the border of the Cotswolds which provides a stunning backdrop to the countryside establishment.
The joint was formerly known as The Windmill but has since undergone a stunning refurb under Jeremy’s ownership. In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk Ben told us that he is a huge fan of Clarkson’s Farm.
He said: “I love that show [Clarkson’s Farm] I absolutely love that show. I did hear that he had opened a pub.” Before adding that he had taken the short trip to check out the location.
“I have been over for a look, I want to go to his pub,” shared Ben. Gushing over the entrepreneur he branded him “amazing”. “His Hawkstone beer is pretty good. You have got to take your hat off to him. What an amazing man,” he continued.

Ben is not the only celebrity who has popped down to the British boozer. The reported that Tom Parker Bowles dined in Jeremy’s pub.
Ben also opened up about whether in the hit crime show Death in Paradise.
The actor left the show back in 2014 after he was dramatically written out.

When quizzed if he would return to the Caribbean island he expressed: “Absolutely I would. I did go back as a ghost in series 10. With Camille. They did like a 100th episode.”
Reflecting on his cameo that aired earlier this year marking the huge milestone, Ben claimed it was an incredible experience to be reunited with his former co-stars.
“I did pop up, and I did get to go back. It was amazing because it had been at least ten years since I had done the first episode,” he continued.

His decision came after he found out that he was about to become a father for the second time.
Ben believed that he had no other option other than to call time on his role because he wanted to save his relationship with his second wife Jessica Parker.
Back in 2013, he shared that he couldn’t bear to be away from home for months at a time with a newborn and wanted to focus on family life.
