Amazon is kicking off October with a big sale bonanza known as Amazon Prime Big Deal Days. The October Prime Day sale has taken place annually since 2022 and in 2024 shoppers can expect more of the same deals on tech, appliances, household goods, beauty and more.

The Prime Day event is , and it is likely to be one of Amazon’s biggest sales events in 2024. The next major sale even won’t happen until November’s Black Friday.

The is a two-day event for offering plenty of deals and discounts in October. The event is almost like a warm-up for the biggest event of the year – Black Friday. It’s also a great opportunity for people to make a start on Christmas shopping or save on bestselling tech. 

When is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?

Amazon has confirmed that its Prime Big Deal Days will begin on Tuesday 8 October 2024 and last through to 11:59pm on Wednesday 9 October. This gives shoppers two full days to make the most of some savvy savings. 

What deals can we expect from Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?

Deals will not be released until the big sale event, however, as is often the case with Amazon events, some of the best deals and savings will be on Amazon’s own devices. Deals are likely to cover the Echo pop and Kindles. 

Amazon has already released a host of early deals and savings, with discounts on its Kindle tablets and Fire TV Sticks for a cut of their usual price. In previous years, Amazon has slashed bestselling tech by up to 60 percent – so there’s likely more of that to come this year.
