ITV Lorraine fans ‘switch off’ as they issue same complaint minutes into show

viewers claimed to ‘switch off’ the show as they were left ‘cringing’ at the TV hosts anniversary special. The Scottish presenter, 64, celebrated her 40 year TV career with a surprise episode that she had ‘no idea’ about.

Moments before her self-titled chat show, Lorraine joined and Ed Balls on Good Morning Britain and confessed she’s utterly in the dark about what to expect as she admitted that the programme has been ‘hijacked’ by two very special women.

Later on, fellow co-stars Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh took on hosting duties and surprised Lorraine with a special show that featured a string of special guests making a surprise appearance to congratulate her on the milestone as well as various throwback clips of the star.

Lorraine was joined by her younger brother Graham, who appeared on the screen behind her in the studio. The moment left the presenter flabbergasted because he doesn’t normally participate in TV appearances. The TV personality gasped and chuckled, as she confessed: “I was horrid to him.”

Elsewhere, emotions were at an all time high as co-star Ross King fought back tears as he looked back at his memories with Lorriane.
