On Tuesday’s instalment of was suddently forced to interrupt the show.
The panel were speaking to legend Charlie Brooks after it was revealed she would be competing in the next series of Dancing on Ice.
While the actress was detailing her reasons for agreeing to take part, Ruth had to cut her off mid-sentence.
She said: “I’m really sorry but I’m going to have to stop you there and to everybody else, we are going to have to take a break.
“I’ve just been told that we’ve got a fire alarm going off in the building.”

As the Loose Women music started to play, viewers could hear Charlie’s surprise.
Ruth added: “Obviously, protocol dictates that we need to leave the studio-“
However, all seemed to be dealt with quickly as Ruth received a message in her ear from the producers.
She continued: “Oh no! I’ve just been told it’s all fine now. Don’t panic!”

The live studio audience was quick to laugh at the situation as Ruth tried to continue on with their interview with Charlie.
Taken aback by the sudden change, Charlie replied: “Ok, that was dramatic! Oh my goodness.”
Although Ruth joked she was trying to get her used to the drama that she would have to play into when competing on Dancing on Ice.
Charlie is the fourth person to join the line-up for the ITV competition which will air in next year.

So far, the reality star Ferne McCann, Traitors contestant Mollie Pearce, Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave and ‘s Sam Aston have all been revealed.
Speaking about taking part, Charlie said: “I’m going to embrace the spray tan! All I want to do is enjoy it and try not to break my leg.”
Dancing on Ice will return to ITV and ITVX in 2025.
