One of ‘s most trusted allies and top state TV propagandist has issued a horrifying warning to the UK, threatening the British Isles with a nuclear attack.

Dmitry Kiselyov claimed the Russian president is becoming increasingly “fed up” and may turn to as retaliation against Western interference in his war in .

If the UK allows to use Western-supplied missiles inside Russian territory, something that is currently forbidden, Kiselyov said Britain might face a nuke attack.

The head of state media company Rossiya Segodnya said loosened restrictions on the use of Storm Shadow missiles, provided by the UK and , could result in a

The missiles, with a range of up to 190 miles, are mainly used to target airbases, radar installations, communications hubs and port facilities.

Kiselyov warned: “London would do well to remember that the British Isles have no missile defence system at all. And the will be made by one man – Putin.

“He has already been provoked so much by the West that at some point the Russian leader may get fed up.

“Britain itself will also become a legitimate target for our hypersonic Dagger [Kinzhal missiles] if its [Storm Shadows] are launched deep into .

“Daggers can be armed with both conventional and nuclear warheads. Putin has moved into action. And now it will not be possible to ignore the Kremlin.”

This comes the week after Putin announced changes to his country’s nuclear doctrine, declaring that any nation’s conventional attack on that is supported by a nuclear power will be considered a joint attack on his country.

A revised version of the document states that an attack against his country by a non-nuclear power with the “participation or support of a nuclear power” will be seen as their “joint attack on the Russian Federation.”

Putin emphasised that could use nuclear weapons in response to a conventional attack posing a “critical threat to our sovereignty”, a vague statement that leaves room for interpretation.

This follows his warning to the US and other allies that allowing to use Western-supplied longer-range weapons to hit Russian territory would mean that and NATO are at war.

Ukrainian President has said he will seek permission from his allies to use the longer-range weapons to strike deep inside Russian territory.
