A culinary expert has unveiled a revolutionary that drastically reduces the cooking time for to a mere 10 minutes.

Rice Bethel, known for his culinary skills, showcased this method on his account @noflakeysalt, demonstrating how to achieve the perfect baked potato without using an oven.

His video, titled “The right way to bake a potato,” highlights how traditional oven baking can take over an hour, while his microwave method gets the job done in just 10 minutes.

To start, Bethel advises choosing a well-sized potato and piercing it with holes to allow steam to escape, enhancing butter absorption.

Place the potato on a microwave-safe plate, microwave it for five minutes, flip it over, and then zap it again for another five minutes.

When he unveiled the finished potato, he noted that the wrinkles on its skin were a positive indication of its doneness.
