Fear not, for a lifestyle expert claims to have found the “secret” formula to return your cooking area to it’s sparkling best. user Home Remedies (@homeremedies) is no stranger to providing 35,000 followers with tips and tricks to keep on top of their homes.
In the account’s latest clip they detail how to go about restoring your kitchen without breaking the bank. “This amazing cleaning hack will help you keep your kitchen spotless without spending money on expensive products,” Home Remedies penned in a caption. “Using items you already have at home, you can create a powerful and effective cleaner. Get rid of grease and grime in seconds with this easy and method!”
“This incredible trick will change your life,” claimed in the opening to the video. “The best thing is it is super easy and effective and you can do it with things you already have at home.”
The tutorial began with Home Remedies grating regular soap, before placing it in a pan. “Add the zest of one or two lemons,” they added. “Next add one cup [237ml approx.] of dishwasher soap and two cups of water [473ml].”

Home Remedies continued, advising to stir the mixture on a low heat on the hob until it produces a “homogeneous paste”. They then added a cup of baking soda and mixed the solution a little more, before moving the contents of the pan away from the heat.
Next, Home Remedies suggested pouring the mixture into smaller containers and allowing it to dry for two hours. “That’s it – you have a powerful homemade cleaner,” they exclaimed. “Use it with a sponge on pots, tiles, the stove, the extractor, walls… everything.”
Showcasing its performance they then revealed footage of it in action, getting to work on the cooker and removing grease that had built up around the hobs. “This preparation leaves a spectacular shine on everything it touches – especially metal and stainless steel utensils.”

As an added bonus, Home Remedies claimed the baking soda used in the concoction will help fend off flies from kitchen surfaces. “You will see the difference immediately and will be impressed with the result,” they promised.
The video closed with the product being applied to walls and an air fryer, proving no match for the grime.
