The cleaning expert recommended that drivers put a small bin in their car for any rubbish
First, Dilly advised all drivers to make sure they have a bin fitted inside their car, which all occupants are easily able to use to dispose of rubbish.
Many manufacturers, including Skoda, offer it as an optional extra on their new cars, while used car drivers can also buy one from a vehicle accessory shop from as little as £5.
Owners of small cars, where a bin would not fit between the two front seats can also consider a hanging bin, which can be applied to the back of one of the seats.

Motorists were also recommended to keep storage bins in their boot for essential items
The cleaning expert also suggested in investing in a number of different storage compartments that can help to keep the boot of the car organised.
Many families keep a number of items, such as an umbrella, wellies and books, in their car at all time to make sure they are prepared for any occasion. However, this can lead to compartments like the boot looking untidy.
By using a storage box or net, drivers can separate different items within their boot, making it much easier to find the items they need.
Finally, Dilly recommended that all drivers try to remove any stains on the interior as soon as possible to prevent causing even more damage.
Often a nightmare for parents, children spilling drinks is surprisingly common, but can often be easier to tackle if action is taken straight away.
By packing a few cloths or baby wipes in a handy location, such as the glovebox, drivers can mop up any mess as soon as it happens.
