A regular face on has admitted she’d love to take part in.

Known for filling in Richard Arnold’s shoes as a showbiz reporter on ITV’s morning programme on Wednesday morning (July 10), the TV star confessed her readiness to glide on the iconic dance stage for its next season.

Needless to say, she is not unfamiliar with the world of reality television having featured on … Get Me Out of Here! back in 2022 and is now ready to fight for the Glitterball trophy.

Post-discussion on the latest rumour about Nadine Dorries, ex-Secretary of State for Culture, Media, and Sport, joining the roster, with hosts Ed Ball and , she expressed honestly: “She’s previously said she’d love to do Strictly and you know what, I’m going to be honest, so would I.”

She further excitedly stated, “So if you are listening out there Strictly team, my dancing shoes are packed and I’m ready to make it all the way to Blackpool.”

To this, Susanna added a jovial comment: “Because Aljaz [Skorjanec] needs a partner.”, reports . Amplifying the entertainment quotient, Scarlett followed up saying, “That would be amazing. I’d absolutely partner with Aljaz.”

Scarlettes’s comments came after the announcement of Aljaz’s comeback to the dance floor was made following his hiatus in 2022.

Speaking on The One Show back in July, he had confirmed his return to Strictly mentioning: “I got to look after my beautiful wife, my beautiful baby for two years. But I missed everything about Strictly.”

The professional dancer bid farewell to the show in 2022 after a nine-year stint, with his final appearance broadcasted in 2021. He lauded his wife Janette Manrara, who also departed the show in 2021, in a heartfelt social media post.

This follows a surprising turn of events when plans for Strictly’s 20th anniversary celebration at Buckingham Palace fell through, despite having the Queen’s endorsement.
