Ace from , real name Warren Furman, has undergone a dramatic life transformation since his time on the hit show. The former bodybuilder, who was once engaged to , has swapped the world of showbiz for a life of religion.

He now works as a Christian preacher, delivering talks in schools, prisons and churches.

Warren found fame on Gladiators alongside popular figures such as Lightning and Wolf. However, unlike many of his co-stars who continued their bodybuilding careers, he chose a different path.

Before the change, Ace was a fan favourite on the TV show and was close to marrying glamour model Katie Price, known then as Jordan. They got engaged in 1997 but ended their relationship in 1999.

Shortly after, Katie began dating Dwight York and became pregnant with her son Harvey Price, reports .

Following his split from Katie, Warren left Gladiators and attempted to continue his career in showbiz. However, he struggled to find success and ended up working on a construction site.

His earnings plummeted from £2,000 an hour to just £20, a change he described as coming “crashing down” into reality.

Afterwards, he focused on his religion and now works within various churches, just recently posting a photo on his socials of him giving a walk at a church.

Now, Warren’s work is centred around his faith. He recently shared a photo on social media of him giving a talk at a church.

He once disclosed that his conversion to Christianity in his early 40s baffled his fellow Gladiators, who believed he had “lost his mind” at the time. The television icon shared his passion for both fitness and faith on This Morning in 2019.

Ace shot to fame after appearing on Gladiators for the original cohort, but a reboot has meant we’re seeing even more fitness fanatics on our screen.
