accidentally let slip adorable nickname as she took part in her first royal engagement since 2023.

The prince was by his mother’s side as they took part in the Big Help Out at the 3rd Scouts Hut in Slough.

Louis was seen helping out as he reset a path and pushed a wheelbarrow and even tried his hand as a digger operator with his father .

After a day’s hard work, were deservedly rewarded with toasted marshmallows over a campfire. It was here that Kate let slip the six-year-old’s nickname as she said: “Pop that on the fire Lou-bugs.”

Louis’ appetite was big enough for him to find room for a marshmallow sandwich after Mum and a scout leader gave him a helping hand in putting it together as William remarked: “You won’t hear a peep out of him now.”
