Naga Munchetty has been absent for two consecutive days
BBC Breakfast viewers have expressed their worries as was absent for the second consecutive show on Saturday. On September 28, Naga was noticeably missing, with Nina Warhurst stepping in to present the programme alongside .
Naga, aged 49, and Charlie, aged 62, are typically the hosts of the 6am to 9.30am show from Thursday to Saturday. However, Nina, 43, filled in to deliver the nation’s latest news headlines as Naga was unable to attend the show due to an undisclosed reason.
“Absolute delight to see the lovely Nina Warhurst reading the main news,” one fan posted on Twitter today. “So lovely to see you rising in the broadcasting ranks, Nina. You are absolutely my favourite presenter,” a second fan commented.
This comes amidst rumours that star Naga has been frequenting an Inverness gym and fitness centre this week. The presenter has been spotted at Dan Moore Elite Training this week, during her ongoing absence from the .
The gym shared on social media: “Naga came in on our group sessions, was very fun to chat to and worked hard alongside our regular members. Can’t wait to see you back next time, Naga”, reports .

Mr Moore revealed that she attended the gym with a long-term member she knows and participated in two separate 50-minute training sessions – one led by himself and another by team member Sam Rushforth.
“She really enjoyed it,” Mr Moore said. “A few people recognised her. She spoke to other members and got on great.”
Despite Naga’s continued absence from the programme after not appearing on Friday, her no-show on today’s episode (September 28) has left some viewers worried.
