BBC Death in Paradise star addresses show future following brand new tv role

Josephine penned during an Q&A, saying: “I had a great time and I made the best out of it. I have amazing memories and met amazing people too. But it’s time to move on.”
However, the actress was quick to acknowledge the outpour of love she had received and admitted that she was “very touched” by people’s pleas. Josephine added: “I think I can safely say no [I won’t be back]. I’ve already left and come back many times and I’ve definitely done my time on the show.

She added: “But I completely understand why the question is asked. In fact, I am very touched that the public wants to continue following Florence.”
Josephine was quizzed if she missed filming on the stunning Caribbean island where it set, but shared: “Not really.”
The show was her first English-language role. She started out back in 2015 and was part of the detective series up until season 11. Although she took a short break in 2019 for both personal and professional reasons.

The star’s latest comments come just days after she revealed she’d be keen to take part in the Death in Paradise spin-off show, Beyond Paradise.
After replying to a fan saying “Yes, why not?” when they put the question forward to her on the platform.
The drama is set for a huge shake-up as it welcomes Don Gilet to take the lead role when it airs again next year.
