BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst passionately disagreed with her co-host during a segment on flying on this morning’s show (September 28).

Nina was stepping in on the morning show as regular host was still absent for an undisclosed reason.

Charlie began by admitting the story had “prompted a little discussion in the studio already”, causing Nina to let out a laugh, perhaps anticipating the disagreement to come.

The talk was on a new gadget that allows flyers to track their luggage during flights, which Charlie had no interest in.

“I don’t think I want a tracker in my bag,” he said, to which Nina replied, “Do you not?”

Charlie continued: “Main reason because if you’re constantly tracking it and you can literally see you’re going one way and the luggage is going to a completely different place, I just think that’s really annoying to know.”

However, Nina offered a different perspective: “But knowledge is power. Then you can get ahead of it, you know where it is.”
