lovers are raving about the remarkable transformation of a sad who found a loving family in Scotland after being confined to a cage in Cyprus.
Photos shared on showcase the mixed-breed husky looking dejected while in a cage. But swiping through the images reveals a striking change, as the dog is now thriving in his new home, exploring beautiful landscapes with his owner.
According to his new owner, the dog called Alvar is now six years old. He was “found on the streets in Cyprus” and “taken to a pound before being sent to a family in Scotland who neglected him”.
His previous owners reportedly “didn’t walk or feed him.” Fortunately, a friend in Edinburgh alerted his current family, who welcomed him into their home. They described him as “stubborn, man-obsessed, stroppy and playful.”
The family has also adopted two other dogs. “Bosie (means hug in Doric) 1yo: Terrier mix is from Romania, found in a field in a box with her sisters at a few months old,” they shared.
