According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman who spoke to the , the Princess of Wales appeared to turn to her husband, saying: “Just mind the gown.”
The expert said that William most likely replied: “Don’t worry I got [or caught] it.”
Underneath her robes, the princess opted for one of her favourite designers, Alexander McQueen, and wore one of their magnificent dresses.
The dress was made from ivory silk crepe with silver bullion and threadwork embroidery featuring rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock motifs, which are the symbols of the four countries of the United Kingdom.
