Despite a large 27-year-old age gap, two female members have a surprisingly strong bond that may have formed naturally at family gatherings and private events.At first glance, it might seem unusual for , nine, and , 36, to form such a close connection, but the two have formed an unexpected and heartwarming relationship that bridges generations within the , who is known to be close to her cousin and his wife, Princess Kate, has shown her deep friendship with their daughter at various royal events. Body language expert, Judi James, describes a moment shared between the royals at ‘s and Jack Brooksbank married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, in the same year and at the same venue that and had used for their own wedding.Judi previously told : “The pose where little Princess Charlotte gazed up at her ‘auntie Beatrice’ at Eugenie’s wedding showed Beatrice could well be Charlotte’s favourite royal friend.”

The body language expert also noted another touching moment between the two royals at Westminster Abbey in March 2022.Judi said that a young Charlotte appeared to comfort the emotional royal, even from afar. The funeral took place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor , due to the restrictions.
She said: “There was an even more touching moment between the two at Philip’s memorial service. Beatrice was overcome by emotion during the service, weeping loudly and even hiding her entire face behind her hymn sheet at one point.
“It was little Charlotte who looked back from the front row with an expression of concern, prompting Beatrice to offer a small smile and nod of thanks to reassure Charlotte she was okay.”
