Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘major problem’ with British public revealed

has lost popularity with the British public in recent times but grew up being well-liked, being seen as the cheeky younger brother to future-king .

However, when the Duke of Sussex decided to depart from his royal duties in 2020, the public blamed one person – , whom Harry married two years earlier.

Since they got married and had their firstborn, Prince Archie, Meghan and Harry said they struggled with being accepted by the Royal Family and made the decision to leave together.

A PR expert has now claimed that Meghan was the “big problem” which has cost the prince his popularity. Speaking on The Sun’s show, Mark Borkowski claimed: “People still love Harry, they still like him.”

He added: “Their problem is they don’t like the woman he loves.”

Mark said that public perception of Meghan changed only after the couple’s decision to leave the monarchy, and was generally positive prior to it.

“There was a huge outpouring of love for her initially as people felt he [Harry] had found someone fairly late in life, at least in terms of royal standards where they sort of get married off early”, he said.

Mr Borkowski added that Meghan was at odds with the royal life, given that she had already risen to fame as a celebrity following her acting career.

The PR expert added: “Of course, when you come from and the star system, when you’re used to being on the for X, Y, and Z, making sure you’ve got your table in restaurants and that you’re seen around, they weren’t the premier act.”

He also said that Harry shouldn’t see himself as a ‘spare’ as he portrays himself in the book, but instead appreciate the perks that came with being the younger son.

“Actually, in some ways, being the spare turned out to be an advantage for him.

“While his ‘Spare’ narrative portrayed him as saying ‘poor me, I was the spare, I was bullied by my brother’ and all that nonsense, being the spare was a huge advantage.”
