There are huge queues on the M5 and two-miles of tailbacks after major overnight flooding
The M5 has been hammed by closures this morning after huge flooding caused overnight chaos on the major UK left motorway, leaving some drivers stranded.

The northbound and southbound carriageways between the Almondsbury Interchange and junction 14 are both closed.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix said: “M5 northbound closed, long delays due to flooding from J16 A38 Gloucester Road (Aztec West) to J14 B4509 (Thornbury / Falfield).”
The southbound stretch from junction 14 for Thornbury and Falfield to junction 15 for the M4 at the Almondsbury Interchange is also closed, causing two miles of traffic congestion back to the Michaelwood Services.
