ITV Tipping Point bosses issue apology as they give update on show future

staff have given an update on the future of the much-loved ITV quiz show. Fans were excited to tune in as the clock struck 4pm, hoping for another brand new episode, hosted by .

However, they were disappointed to find an episode that originally aired in 2022 showing instead, as players Brian, Evanie and Harismar took on the in a hope to win a cash prize.

The upset comes as the show aired new episodes earlier in the week, from Monday until Wednesday, but reruns have aired instead yesterday and today.

Taking to , one viewer fumed: “And yet another repeat. #TippingPoint,” followed by an image showing that the episode was originally aired in 2022. The Tipping Point official Twitter account responded saying: “We apologize for the inconvenience!”

Another social media user posted: “#tippingpoint. A repeat. Repeats used to be programmes that were watching again….. now it’s cheap fillers. Like a cheap Butt lift.” The ITV account responded once more, assuring the disgruntled fan that their feedback would be taken on board as they wrote: “We take all feedback into consideration!”

A third fan joined in on venting their frustrations, writing: “@TippingPointITV have itv got this episode stuck in their machine. It’s been on so many times.”

This time, the show’s X account responded with some welcomed news, as they said: “Apologies! We are working on new shows!”

As another viewer shared their distaste at another rerun, ITV once again confirmed the news that there would be new shows. They posted: “We apologize! New episodes are coming!”

Amidst the ensuing clamour, Ben forcefully added one more line to make his stance crystal clear: “By the way, it’s not my money!”
