Graham Norton admitted that one star refused to take a seat on his show
has hilariously recalled the time a Hollywood actor “refused to sit down” on his show because he wasn’t happy with the seating arrangements.
Appearing on the latest episode of , the TV host looked back on his life to date, exploring everything from the time he lived in a commune in San Franisco, all the way to a story about one star who refused to take a seat on his popular chat show.
Intrigued by his years spent hosting the hit chat show, Grace questioned him about one aspect in particular, the placement of guests on the sofa and whether any of them expect to be in the prime position next to him, the Mirror reports.
He replied: “That does happen weirdly, it’s our fault really. What we should have done all along was mix it up, so that the biggest star wasn’t near to me, but now it is seen as the person sitting next to me is the biggest star on the sofa.”

Graham Norton’s TV show is set to return tonight
Despite appearing more than once on the show previously, he revealed that one particularly famous star still hasn’t made it on the sofa next to him: “Which sometimes means that huge stars for whatever reason have never sat next to me. Bradley Cooper has never sat next to me. There has always been someone more famous than him.”
Wanting to find out more, Grace asked ‘has anyone ever walked out and just changed seats at the last minute’.
Graham replied: “That has happened once. They walked out together, they were two actors, they walked out together and one of them was supposed to be sitting next to me and the other one just didn’t sit down. He just waited.”
He jokingly added: “It was quite something to see.”
