Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he would be willing to return to Old Trafford as manager.

is coming under immense pressure at the Theatre of Dreams, with questions already being raised about whether made the right decision to retain faith in the Dutchman.

The Red Devils have endured a tricky start to the season and further downturns in form could see Ten Hag put on the chopping block, and United won’t be short of interest in any potential vacancy.

Ex-boss Solskjaer has now revealed that he would be willing to return to his former club if the opportunity arose.

Asked by Norwegian newspaper VG whether he would be open to the chance to make a comeback at Old Trafford, he said: “I don’t like to talk about other managers jobs, but yes. Of course I would.”

The Norwegian spent three years in charge of the Red Devils before being sacked in November 2021, with Ralf Rangnick replacing him on an interim basis.
