Duchess Sophie enjoyed a tipple at the Domaine Evremond winery in Kent
Pictured enjoying a glass of , Duchess Sophie visited Kent to toast the opening of the family-run Domaine Evremond Winery in Canterbury.The was all smiles as she unveiled a brown plaque in the picturesque green vineyard which stated she had “officially opened the Domaine Evremond Winery on 26th September 2024”.Dressed in a double-breasted heritage grey blazer and duck egg blue shirt, the Duchess stunned in her ensemble as she was taken on a tour of the vineyard, alongside meeting the family behind the drinks business. Domaine Evremond states on their website that in Kent, famously known as ‘The Garden of England’, they can make a “high-quality premium sparkling wine” and that the combination of soil, climate, topography and time are perfect to achieve this.

The Domaine Evremond Winery is a new vineyard founded in 2017 by Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger of Champagne Taittinger and Patrick McGrath of Hatch Mansfield with their first edition of Domaine Evremond ‘Classic Cuvée’ due for release in Spring 2025.
The winery is essentially a unique partnership between Taittinger, one of France’s best-known houses, and their UK partner, Hatch Mansfield.
